I just wanted to let you know the pet memorial granite plaque arrived and it is beautiful. We didn’t get this pet granite plaque as a pet memorial keepsake because our pet had died we got the pet granite plaque as a gift for our children because our pet is still very much a part of our life. We love our dog, Scott, so much that we thought a granite portrait would be so much better than having a painted portrait of him.
The black polished granite finish really makes a beautiful setting for the laser etching photo on the plaque and we have it on that free stand you included with the memorial pet plaque. The stand really sets the dog plaque off as an exhibit laser photo. We chose the horizontal over the verital pet memorial plaque because the shape was more suitable for our photo. This memorial plaque, which we now call a dog memorial plaque because it is really for our dog, will stay in our family because it is so special. We are glad we went ahead and did this now while he is alive. I 
know when the time comes we will probably go for a laser granite burial marker if it is anything like this granite pet plaque. We want to keep him safe and honour his life with beauty as he is now. We love him dearly. Our family is also thinking of doing a laser granite plaque for each the kids then we would have a complete family set of memories for years to come.
